The Club is again running the WBRC Best Turned Out Horse Championship, which recognises the invaluable work of stable staff within the racing industry. The stable receiving the most best turned out awards at Newbury Racecourse during the current jumps season will receive our Challenge Shield currently held by Paul Nicholls & Jonjo O’Neill.
The Shield will be presented after the last race on Saturday 12 April, which is the West Berkshire Racing Club Handicap Hurdle. After the meeting at Newbury on 1 March 2008 the leading trainers are:
