VISIT TO PAUL BLOCKEY’S STABLES - RESCHEDULED

Paul Blockley has kindly agreed to the Club visiting his Lambourn yard where he trains a mixed string of around 30 horses. This is the first time that the Club has visited Paul’s yard and the visit should provide plenty of interest.
Anyone who booked previously is asked to telephone the number given in the Newsletter to confirm whether they wish to attend on the revised date. If you have not booked previously please send your booking using the form at the end of the current newsletter as soon as possible.
The cost of the visit is £5 per person and bookings should be made using the form in the April newsletter and must be sent to arrive by no later than 25 April. This visit is limited to 30 people and places will be allocated in the order of receipt.
VISIT TO MICK CHANNON’S STABLES
West Ilsley Stables, West Ilsley, Newbury, Berkshire

Leading trainer Mick Channon has kindly agreed to the Club visiting his stables on Wednesday 23 July starting at 9am.
This will inevitably be a popular visit with a strict limited on numbers. To ensure equal opportunity in booking we are asking those who want to attend to telephone the number given in the current Newsletter between 8 and 10 pm on Monday 2 June. If the Bookings Secretary confirms your place on the visit she will ask you to forward your payment to her with the form enclosed with the current Newsletter. Please note that this event cannot be booked by sending a booking form or telephoning before 8pm on 2 June. Payment must be received before the visit, as money cannot be collected on the day.
The cost of the visit is £5 per person and once a telephone booking has been confirmed payment should be sent as soon as possible with the form included with the current Newsletter.
WEST BERKSHIRE RACING CLUB - NO SMOKING POLICY Newbury Racecourse now operates a No Smoking Policy in all of its enclosed facilities, in accordance with the law. In order to comply with this policy the WBRC wishes to confirm that the same policy applies to all of its meetings. Please note that this ruling applies to both our indoor meetings and those where we visit the premises of others, such as stables and stud farms.We would ask everyone to respect this decision both to comply with the law and also in the interests of health and safety.
