WBRC FLAT SEASON TRAINERS CHAMPIONSHP

After four days flat racing at Newbury the search to crown the leading trainer during the 2008 season is well underway. The leading trainer at the end of the season will be awarded the Wombat Challenge Cup (an historic cup loaned to the WBRC by our President, Peter Walwyn) and a prize to the staff of the stable. At the time of writing Henry Cecil leads the table with three wins ahead of Mick Channon, Roger Charlton, Richard Hannon, Barry Hills and Michael Jarvis with two winners each.

In the event of two or more trainers having the same number of winners the winner of the championship will be decided on the basis of most second and the third places.
